Welcome. Serenity Gardens Bed and Breakfast opened for business in 2005. We have three rooms with comfortable beds and private baths. Included in the room price is a hearty country breakfast complete with dishes made of freshly laid eggs from our resident hens. We feature satellite television, high speed wireless internet, laundry facilities, private guest gardens, and complementary soft drinks and snacks. A separate secure area is available for parking motorcycles. Two friendly dogs and eight hens are on the premises.
Merced is the Gateway to Yosemite and is located in the central valley of California. We are about an hour and a half from Yosemite National Park and two hours from San Francisco, Sacramento, and Monterey. The Gold Country is just a thirty minute drive into the mountains.
Merced is the home of University of California’s newest campus. The campus is just about a mile and a half away and borders Lake Yosemite for fishing, boating, and swimming. Visitors may wish to spend time at the Agricultural Museum, the Merced Courthouse Museum, Applegate Park and Zoo, or the Castle Air Museum.
